Help to make your face mask more effective by using our PM2.5 air filters. These 5-layer activated carbon filters are specially designed to help filter out fine particles that are often invisible to the naked eye. These include chemicals, pollution, mould, dust and many more. We supply these filters in packs of 10.
These particles are known as ‘particulate matter’, hence the PM in the product name. The 2.5 part refers to the size of the particulate in micrometres - an extremely small measurement visible only when using a microscope. PM 2.5 filters are designed to filter our particles that measure 1/400th of a millimetre or larger. Our filters are made from 5-layer activated carbon and are designed to be disposed of once used. Please do not attempt to wash and reuse these filters.
We recommend that air filters should be replaced in your face mask at least once a week. Depending on the environment that the masks are being used in, you may have to replace your filter daily. Please wash your hands thoroughly before handling the air filters. After removing a used filter, please make sure to discard it safely and wash your hands again to avoid spreading any contaminants.
